We hosted our first in-person event in a year on Thursday, July 22nd! The Art of Mingling, hosted by Four Roses Bourbon, was held at the charming, eclectic, retro-inspired High Horse Bar in Butchertown. Guests enjoyed cocktails, appetizers and mingling before connecting Whisky Chicks via Zoom from across the country for a special presentation with tastings served.
Master Distiller Brent Elliott joined us, speaking about the ten, unique Four Roses bourbon recipes and explained the process of selecting which four recipes were chosen to be mingled together for the creation of Four Roses Small Batch and which six recipes were chosen for Four Roses Small Batch Select.
Guests used sensory exploration to examine the product characteristics they detected while sampling both bourbons through a guided tasting. In addition to tastings, attendees enjoyed cocktails and delicious small bites!
