The official drink of the Kentucky Derby is the Old Forester Mint Julep. It is an easy cocktail to make but to achieve the classic mint julep, there are traditions to be followed. We will share the basics, the history and show you how to make twisted versions of the classic julep .
This course will be an interactive experience. Everyone will play a part in making a special batch of juleps that will become a new favorite. You will be provided with ideas and suggestions for setting up a julep bar at your next party where guests can create their own concoctions with different flavored syrups, garnishes, spirits and non-alcoholic mixers.
Each attendee will enjoy 3 sample cocktails and walk away with their very own Lewis bag and Bourbon Badass mallet for crushing ice (Retail Value $30).
