Every barrel of whisk(e)y has its own unique characteristics. Whiskey made from the same distillate, put into similarly crafted barrels, placed side by side in an aging warehouse, 3-4 years later can taste dramatically different. Kentucky Peerless Distillery, who was recognized by Whisky Magazine as the Global Craft Producer of the Year, has extended a very special invitation to the Whisky Chicks to help educate, inform and demonstrate how and why this happens.

Guests will join Master Distiller Caleb Kilburn on a journey through the process, sharing samples from 3 different hand selected single barrels. Once we build consensus on our favorite, we will focus on the characteristics and flavors that make that barrel special. Our job is to work with the Peerless team to come up with a name that exemplifies the best features of the barrel. From there, the selection will be added to the visitor center’s curated collection.

Secure your seat at the table for this exclusive educational experience. Tickets are $35 for members and $45 for non-member and include an opportunity to tour the distillery (arrive by 6PM), mix and mingle over cocktails and small bites and to be part of the selection team for the next award-winning barrel.

Due to the limited # of tickets we do not offer refunds. Tickets are transferable.
