We were joined by Brown-Forman to toast the Coopers, those highly skilled in the craft of raising new, charred oak barrels – a key ingredient in the bourbon making process!
For 75 years, Brown-Forman (only major distiller to own and raise their own barrels), controls the complete bourbon-making process from start to finish and, in tribute, introduced Coopers’ Craft Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey in 2016.
Fitz Bailey, Coopers’ Craft Brand Ambassador shared history, cocktails and how best to enjoy the smooth flavor of this unique brand. In addition, Whisky Chick, Laura Widders baked Coopers’ Craft Oatmeal Raisin Cookies.
For this event, we featured Coopers’ Craft Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey and Coopers’ Craft Barrel Reserve (available at most local liquor stores, including Westport Whiskey & Wine in St. Matthews and Vines Wine Bar & Spirit Shop the Highlands).
