Bourbon Basics

We held a seminar to help participants begin their journey to becoming a Bourbon Badass by easing their way into bourbon. We created an experience with gateway cocktails that help your palate appreciate and enjoy the deliciousness of Kentucky Bourbon. We began with a little history and background about the different types of whisk(e)y and then moved into ways one can enjoy and share their newfound passion and knowledge with friends.

Badass Bitters, Infusions, Syrups & Shrubs

The newest trend in cocktails is experimentation in flavors. Guests joined us as we provided ideas and recipes for the at-home mixologist. We played around with different botanicals, fruits, spices and other intriguing ingredients to develop unique concoctions that can be used with your favorite bourbon, spirit or for those that don’t imbibe, non-alcoholic cocktails. Participants walked away with recipes, samples and their own jar of bitter to try at home.
